THE PHILLIPSTOWN KINDERGARTEN.

The monthly meeting of the committee of the Phillipstown kindergarten was held at the school on Tuesday, when there were present Mesdames T. E. Taylor (in the chair), R. Dunbter. E. A. Leaver, Woodham, Stuart, D. G. Sullivan. Francis, Richards, J. A Empson, Misses Gordon, Ryan and Thomas. Apologies for absence weer received frorri Mesdames Griffiths, Yates and Wyatt. It was reported that when the . school reopened after the winter vacation the roll number had decreased very considerably owing to children leaving to attend State schools. The roll now stands at 69. Visitors for the month were Miss Tabart, Mrs Holman (a London Magistrate), Mr A. W. Stuart, Miss Egan and Miss Head from the Normal Training College.
