“A SATISFACTORY CONFERENCE,” SAYS SIR A. ROBIN.
ROUND TABLE TALK DID MUCH GOOD FOR THE SCOUT MOVEMENT.
“We had a very satisfactory conference,” stated Sir Alfred Robin today, referring to the Boy Scout conference held last evening. There were, he said, certain matters that called for attention and that, neglected, might have led to trouble. As the result of a very amicable discussion, however, certain amendments to the methods of procedure were agreed upon, and theseit was believed, would straighten out any little difficulties. The amendments would be published in due course. “The conference was held with the best Scout feeling and good fellowship,” added Sir Alfred, “and ended with a perfect understanding.” Sir Alfred Robin will proceed to Dunedin this evening.
