There was a fair attendance. The weather was bright. Results:— MOTEO HACK HURDLES, Of 150 sovs. One mile and a half. 6 Abisogne, 9 2 1 7 Grand National, 9.8 2 s—Wilmoreana, 9.0 3 Also started: 3 Tresham, 1 Kaiti, 9 Pale Star, 10 Mystum, 2 Fine Acre, 12 Araby, 11 Kingly, 4 Purseproud, 8 Heather Blend. Won by six lengths. Time: 2min 52 3-ssec. In the first race Araby fell, breaking his leg, and had to be destroyed. PETANE HACK STEEPLES, Of 150 sovs; two miles. 5 Crishna, 9.2 1 9—Bonayron, 9.0 2 I—Royal Elm, 9.10 3 Also started—4 Alaric, 2 Master Arch, 8 Lieutenant Bill, 7 Ponjola, 2 Mandarine, 6 Aurora Borealis, 10 Rayonnant. Won by a neck. Time—4min 26sec. MEEANEE HACK HANDICAP, Of 12g sovs. Six furlongs. 6 Mouri Rangi, 9.0 1 s—Mafigahare, 10.3 2 7 Bold Front, 10.3 3 Also started: 1 Sylvan Dell, 3 Glyn Dhu, 2 Tourist, 8 Nightwitch, 4 Last Mark, 10 Acervate, 9 Town Section. Won by two lengths. Time—lmin 19 2 ssec.
