In reference to Councillor E. 11. Andrews’ request at a recent meeting of the' City* Council that the By-laws , Committee consider the question of preventing delivery of milk before 3 a.m., the committee reported to the council last night that it had considered the matter and had asked the Inspector of Police to issue instructions to constables on duty 7 in the eartv Hours of the morning to take , steps for the prosecution of milk vendors who make unnecessary noise when stopping and starting their motor delivery 7 vans. The council inspector, who was : engaged in the collection of milk , samples, had received similar instructions. The report was adopted.
