Through a motor-car in which he was j travelling on Saturday night. striking j a telegraph pole, Charles Groves, of j Bordesley Street, was admitted to the • j hospital suffering from cuts on his i j head. The accident happened in Wood- • i ham Road. The motor-car was return- | ing from New Brighton and the driver j swerved to avoid another car, striking the pole before he could straighten the - car up again. Another passenger was slightly hurt.
