Per Press -Association. WELLINGTON. December 5. At the annual meeting. of Brunner Collieries Ltd., Mr Stitt, the chairman and managing-director, said that the directors had had a strenuous year. There had been delay in disposing of shares. In consequence the directors had decided to issue debentures and it was hoped that these would all be placed during the year. It only required completion of the bins to enable output to take place. It was anticipated that work would be in progress early in the New Year. Shareholders could look forward w r ith confidence to the future. Mr I. Patterson, in seconding the adoption of the report, said that the' Railway Department was satisfied with the coal and it would be a large and immediate customer. Other speakers were also optimistic.
