“THE NERVOUS WRECK” IS BRIGHT COMEDY AT THE LIBERTY.

“The Nervous Wreck,” which has had a great run in the United States on the legitimate stage, has been made into a most amusing picture. Harrison Ford, as the man who believes that he is about to die, scores one of the biggest successes in his comedy career. He interprets the role with a cleverness that is characteristic of him. and all the way through he maintains his part without a flaw. Phyllis Haver, as the pretty young thing who elopes with the sick man, gives proof of her long experience as a comedy actress. Chester Conklin has also a prominent part in the picture, and he lives up to his high reputation as a comedy player. Time rolls back for forty or fifty years in “ Riders of the Dark,” and the scene reveals an American frontier town of the bad old days, when gunmen were in the habit of taking charge of settlements and conducting them for their own purposes and benefit. The Liberty Concert Orchestra, under the baton of Mr Ernest Jamieson, plays many classical and popular favourites.
