The Railway Department is calling tenders for the supply of lubricating and gas making oil by advertisement appearing in this issue. Bv arrangement with the Department, the work has been conducted at Cawthron Insti lute and Dr Miller has been successful , m his experiments. Portion of the Cawthron Insectaries has been set apart for mass production of parasite; and the brood secured since the winter will be distributed. A large consignment of parasites sent to Australia proved a great success.
