MOON MAY COLLIDE WITH THE EARTH.

(United Press Assn. By Elec trio Telegraph.—Copyright.) LONDON. September 28. The possibility that millions of years hence the moon may collided with the earth, destroying all life, was visualised bv Sir Oliver Lodge in an address on the history of the moon. He explained that forces were working in the moon causing it to return to earth, of which it was once part. Similar forces are working on the moon of the planet Mars, which in a few thousand years may come crashing down to the surface* of Mars. That will be a fine sight for those who are alive on the earth, but it will end any inhabitants of Mars. —Australian Press Association —United Service.
