“Are you a fishmonger?” inquired Mr C. S. Thomas of a witness in the Magistrate's Court this morning. “ Yes.** “ I thought you told my client you were a lion tamer?” “ No.” “ Seems you might be a lyin’ something else,” said Mr Thomas. “ This is irrelevant,” said Mr H. P. Lawrv, the Magistrate. “ Yes, sir. The witness evidently doesn’t know the old story! ”
