PORT DUNEDIN ARRIVES DIRECT FROM LONDON.

The C. and D. steamer Port Dunedin arrived at Lyttelton this morning from London direct, after an uneventful voyage. The vessel, which is in command of Captain Farnian, left London on August 9. She made a fine weather trip to Panama, arriving at Balboa on August 23, leaving the following day for .Lyttelton. The vessel average fourteen knots on the trip to New Zealand. She brought nine passengers, and has 2300 tons of cargo for discharge at Lyttelton, as well as three Clydesdales and one thoroughbred, consigned to Mr J. R. M’Kenzie.
