NOTIFICATIONS OF SCARLET FEVER.

Fifty-eight cases of scarlet fever were notified in the Canterbury Health District last week, compared with 57 in the previous week. Of the cases notified last week 38 were in the metropolitan area, a decrease of four as compared with the previous week.
