CAR STOLEN BY JOY-RIDERS; FOUND BADLY DAMAGED.

A five-seater sedan belonging to Mr James Beban, of 177, Edgeware Road, St Albans, was stolen by joy-riders from Manchester Street, between the Railway Hotel and Moorhouse Avenue, at 7 o'clock on Saturday evening. Yesterday the car was found upside down, with the body crushed in, at the bottom of a bank off the old zig-zag road between Lyttelton and Sumner.
