BRIGHT WEATHER FOR FINAL DAY’S RACES.
The best had been reserved for the last, and no fault could be found with cne weather to-day. Addington was at its freshest and gayest, and the spirits oi the assembly rose. bartorially the day was not important. Inherent caution dictated wraps, which were soon discarded, donned again, and put aside onci more as the warmth of the sun checked the chill breeze which always, even in the most beneficent of weather, seems to favour the racegoers at Addington. It was pre-eminently a day for the wearing of tailored costumes, severely cut and with one note of frivolity in the bright posy which has now insinuated itself into every toilette. Some cubist wraps were noticeable, and though strangely enough, few spring hats were worn, those that had been selected were bright and pretty. Among the many ladies present were:—
Mrs J H. Williams, wife of the president, who wore a smartly tailored suit of navy-blue cloth, a small navy felt with a Skunk fur necklet. Miss Odie Kerr, Mrs P. B. Hume, Mrs C. P.
