MET OK SUNDAY.

An allegation that the meeting of Reswanui (West Coast) householders to elect a school committee had been held on a Sunday, and was therefore illegal, was made in a letter received by the Canterbury Education Board to-day. The chairman (Mr C. S. Thompson) : Have we any proof that it was on a Sunday. “A lot of things are done on Sundays on the Coast,” remarked a member. The letter was held over pending the obtaining of a report on the matter.
