“THE LOVE MART” IS FINE FILM AT CRYSTAL PALACE.

The picturesque days of the rapier, foil, and broadsword, with all the romance they imply, are recalled at Crystal Palace, to the pleasure of natrons of that theatre. There was a time when the sword, dangled at the side of every young blood, part of whose education consisted in learning to use it on the slightest provocation. or none at all. The old-time weapons gleam again in “The Love Mart.” They are used with brilliant skill and boundless daring by Mr Gilbert Roland and Mr Noah Beery. It is in the romantic age of old New Orleans, when that city, now prosperous and prosv, was the rendezvous of slave-runners and other characters of the same kidney. “ Bitter Apples,” in which Miss Myrna Lov takes the leading part, is a story of Sicilian revenge. The Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Mr A. J. Bunz. contributes a delightful programme of music.
