“ I decline to pay; I have had to pay for two or three street accidents alread3 r , and that’s enough. Ambulances for street accidents should be free.’’ The above was the wording of a letter received by the St John Antbulance Association from a man who was conveyed to the hospital in one of the association’s ambulances. When the letter was read at last night’s meeting of the general committee of the association the secretary explained that the man had called on'him and stated that he’ refused to pay the account. 1 he amount was 55.. Jt was decided to remit the amount.
