30,000 HOMELESS AFTER GREAT FIRE IN INDIA.
(Received May 17, 12.30 p.m.) CALCUTTA, May 10. Thirty thousand are homeless and three thousand houses were destroyed by fire at Ellore, near Madras. Hundreds of cattle were incinerated. —Australian Press Association.
