Mr R. Semple, past-president of the New Zealand Labour Party, and a member of the national executive, will arrive in Christchurch towards the end of next week. lie will deliver a lecture at the Municipal Concert Hall next Sunday week on the question of war. Mr W. H. Hagger, Conciliation Commissioner, will leave for Dunedin next Monday to attend sittings of the Conciliation Council there. He expects to return to Christchurch about a week
