FRANCE TO PAY WAR DEBT INSTALMENT OF £8,000,000 THIS YEAR.

Notification has been received from the French Government that they have arranged to pay the British Government in respect of French war debt to Great. Britain during the financial year. 1928, the sum of £8.000.000 in two equal instalments on September 15, 1928, and March 15, 1929.—British Official Wireless.
