JUDGE DEALS WITH CHAMBER MATTERS.
A sitting of the Supreme Court in chambers was held to-day before Mr Justice Adams. For Inquiry. In the action of James Alexander Pepper against the British Building Block Company, Ltd. (in liquidation), a claim was made for a contribution from co-guarantors. Mr White applied for an order that the case be referred to the registrar for an inquiry and a report. Mr Hunter, for the liquidator, consented, and an order was made according! y.
Security for Cost*. In the divorce action of Walter David Tinker against Olive Rosa Tinker and another, an application was made by Mr Hunter for security for the wife's costs for a defence. Mr A. Kirk, for the petitioner, consented to an order for £4O being made.
