MOTHER PLACED UNDER OBSERVATION. (United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Received April 18. 11.30 a.m.) MELBOURNE. April 18. The body of Gladys Wilson, aged thirteen, was found at the bottom of a well at her home at Vesper, near Warragul. The child was clad in a nightgown, and it is alleged that she was taken out of her bed at midnight by an adult and thrown into the well and drowned. The child’s mother has been removed to the hospital for observation. Several years ago another of Mrs Wilson’s children was drowned in the same well.—Australian Press Association.
