HEAVY WHEAT CROP IS REPORTED.

A very heavy crop of Tuscan wheat is reported to have been grown bv a small farmer in Upper Riccarton ' A seven-acre paddock threshed out 576 bushels, which works out at an average of approximately eighty-two bushels to the acre. As far as is known this is something of a record for the district.
