FRED THOMPSON STARS IN “DON MIKE” AT QUEEN’S.
A picture which will appeal to all with its -colourful story laid in South California, in the days when the Spaniards ruled that part of America is “Don Mike." which is showing at the Queen’s Theatre this week. The story of “Don Mike” will add fresh laurels- to the name of Fred Thomson, who has the leading part. As is usual in all his pictures, Thomson is helped to a very great extent by his wonderful horse, Silver King. Ruth Clifford, as Mary Kelly, is at her very bright best and gives a convincing portrayal of the trials of a young woman in a new land. The second attraction is a splendid story* of the Arizona wastelands with an element of mystery mingled with fast actions and featuring the wondei dog, Fangs. Good comedies and in teresting gazettes complete an excellent holiday programme.
