MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
CHRISTCHURCH. (Before- Mr 11/Av Young, S.M.) DRUNKENNESS. For drunkenness, three first offenders were fined. ’2os, the amount of their bail, and one was fined 10s, in default 24 hours’ imprisonment. ON LICENSED PREMISES. Thomas James White and Andrew Watson, who pleaded guilty to being |on licensed premises, were each fined j £2, in default seven days’ imprisonment. Police evidence was that the men had been found shortly •fter six o’clock this morning on the premises at the King George Hotel, and that they had admitted going there in search of drinkg ASSAULT. For pushing Sarah Keame\- and knocking her down, Charles Bell was fined 30s and costs, in default seven days’ imprisonment. The offence occurred outside the Railway Station yesterday evening..
