“SEVENTH HEAVEN” DRAWS CROWDS TO THE GRAND THEATRE
The outstanding success of “Seventh Heaven at the Grand Theatre last week has led to its season being extended. On its merits, the picture is ' well worth the longer screening, as
people who have not yet seen it will ;be afforded an opportunity of enjoying .the best that has ever been shown in | Christchurch. Acting and production are magnificent. The story is of Diane and Chico and their many friends in the | slums of Paris. Diane and Chico are played by two new stars, Janet Gaynor and Charles Farrell, who, on the /strength of their acting in the picture, must be accorded a place among the elite of the film world. A vocal prologue is sung by Mr David M’Gill. The supporting programme is of the highest order.
