HYDRO-ELECTRIC POWER CONFERENCE TO BE HELD IN CITY.
Canterbury’s _ fixture hydro-electric power supply will be the subject of a conference on Wednesday next. . Mr P. R. Climie (organiser) reported at last night’s meeting of the executive of the Canterbury Progress League that he had circularised local bodies in the matter. “ It is a very, important question,” said the chairman, Mr J. E. Strachan. “ It will be seriously considered.”
