OCTAGON TO BE SITE FOR NEW DUNEDIN THEATRE.
In connection with the purchase of a site in the Octagon, Dunedin, for the new Regent Theatre, it is authoritatively announced that the building will be erected on a piece of land adjoining Smith and Smith's warehouse. The value of the piece of land is £35,000. The property sold by Messrs Smith and Smith to the theatre promoters did not consist of the Dunedin business premises of the firm, and the new building will not in any way inter fere with those premises.
