Forty-seven accidents were reported on the Christchurch trams during May. Seventeen were collisions with motorcars, fourteen were caused by passengers boarding or alighting from moving cars, seven were miscellaneous, five were were collisions with vehicles other than motor-cars and motor-cycles, three were collisions with motor-cycles and one was a collision with a cyclist.
