A woman attempted,suicide and was taken to the hospital. Her husband motored at night to fetch a sister-in-law. With two male friends in the car he collided with another car and his car fell into the river, the three men being drowned. The conductor of a motor coach recovered the bodies. The motor coach was restarted and had only gone a few hundred yards when there was a crash. It was discovered that the coach had run down and killed a man pushing a handcart on which was lying an invalid, who was severely injured.
