BANK OF NEW SOUTH WALES MAKES AN INCREASE OF CAPITAL.

(Received Februarv 2S. 10.5 a.m.' SYDNEY, February 28 The Bank of New .South Wales intends to raise its nominal capital to seven and a half millions sterling by the creation, cf seventy-five thousand new shares at £2O each. It is proposed to issue to the West Australian Bank shareholders 43.750 Bank of New South Wales shares in consideration of the sale of that bank as a going concern. The remaining 31,250 shares will be offered to all shareholders registered on April 30 on a pro rata Via sis
