February 25, Several of the dominions’ replies concerning President Coolidge’s naval disarmament proposals have reached London. The diplomatic correspondent of the Daily Telegraph ” says that some are fairly definite while others seek further information, particularly the British Admiralty's views. More time, therefore, is required before a c onsidered joint answer for Britain and the dominions can be sent to Washington. The Uniter! States Government, has also indicated that it is in favour of the publication of statistics, both of private and of Government factories, but it is understood that the United States will not agree to any form o'f international control of arms manufactured in the United States.
