“RED HOT TYRES” CREATES AMUSEMENT AT LIBERTY THEATRE.
MERRY COMEDY, STARRING POPULAR MONTE BLUE. The pace which is set. and maintained all the ivay through, in " Red Hot Tyres ” would surely damage the tyres on any ordinary car. but in this picture, which at times borders on a farce, the pace is accompanied by much laughter on the part bf the spectators. The plot is light, and it deals with many things, all of which create amusement. Elopements, gaols, and “ speed cops,” all have their part and are all blended into a picture that takes the mind away from the cares and worries of every day life. Monte Blue is the star. Eased on a novel that proved to be popular. ** The Romance of a Million Dollars,-’ should became even more popular. The story is light and of a. humorous nature, but there is an excellent sequence with a logical conclusion. Olenn Hunter has the principal role. An entertaining musical programme is played by the Liberty Concert Orchestra under the conductorship of Mr Ernest Jamieson.
