MISSING CHILD SUFFERED FROM APOPLECTIC FITS.
The girl Irma Timms, aged eight, who disappeared from her home in Keppel Street, New Brighton, has not yet been found. She was subject to apoplectic fits, which have been more frequent lately, sometimes as many as nine in a day. The child needed constant watching, as she would wander off if left by herself. On Saturday she was in the charge of her brother, aged ten, who left her for a while, and, finding her gone on his return, he became frightened, • and did not tell anyone of her disappearanceShe has no relatives in New Brighton to whom she could have gone. As she is frightened of the sea and the river, it is unlikely that she could have come to harm in either of these places. Her mother is afraid that she may have wandered off somewhere and had a fit. As she has lived in New Brighton for only a short time she would probably not remember where she lives, although she remembers her name well. She has very light hair, light blue eyes, and dark eyebrows and lashes, and was wearing an old blue dress, but was without shoes, stockings or hat. She was seen on Saturday on the beach by two little girls who knew her, and seemed then to be well. Her family continue to search for her, but have not yet found any trace of her.
