SOUTH ISLAND POULTRY ASSN. MEETS IN DUNEDIN.
Per Press Association. DUNEDIN. November 25. The annual meeting of the South Island Poultry, Pigeon and Canary Association was opened this morning. The president (Mr G. E. Jeffreys) was in the chair) atid clubs were represented as follows: Messrs A W. M’Nfekdl (Christ* Church Poultry), J. Gerrle (Oamani Poultry), Muriyard (Tapanui). O. H. Bradford (United Pigeon), J. Hoare (Dunedin Fanciers). F. O. Hansen (Dunedin Utility), T. A. Brown (Dunedin Specialists Young Bird), T. Kennedy (North Canterbury), A. Biindy (Ashburton), J. D. Cobb* (N.Z. Utility Foultfy), L. Colbourtte (Kailaugata). W. Eequilant (vice-president), w. A. W. Clapp (Nightcaps), G. Gough (Invercargill), and Mrs E. Davidson (New Zealand Rhode Island Red).
The Canterbury Bantam, Christchurch Canary* Christchurch Pigeon, Lyttelton Fanciers, Otautau League ana Greymouth Clubs Were represented by proxy. The resignation Of the Hertot Club was received with regret, the president stating it was possible that the olub had merged with another. An invitation was received from Tim* aru to hold the next annual meeting of the association there, and it Was accepted unanimously. The president said the poultry fatuiy had b*»en re-estAblished in Tirn&ru and the holding Of the meeting there Would be of assistance. The election of Officers resulted: President., Mr G. B.
