CYCLIST THROWN ON ROAD AND STRUCK BY A MOTOR-CAR.
A double Accident befel James Cairns, of the Jubilee Home, Wools ton, at about 11 o’clock last, night. Ha was cycling in Princes Street* Woolston, and was brought off his bicycle by a dog. Before he could get up he was hit by a motor-car, receiving injuries to the head. He was somewhat shaken, but had no other injuries, and was dis charged from the Christchurch Hospital after being treated as an outpatient.
