ABERDARE HOUSE DANCE.

Aberdare House was the scene of a very pretty dance given recently by Miss Baker and the girls of the house. The dance room was decorated with balloons and multicoloured streamers suspended from a large hoop in the centre of the room. The lounge was decorated with streamers, and the sup-per-tables with tulips. A Monte Carlo dance was won by Miss Freda Morland and Mr L. Kissell. The music was supplied by Mr Manning, extras being played by Misses Hopkinson and Dixon. The. chaperons were Mesdames Wagstaff and. Miss Baker. The committee consisted of Misses Nora Attrill (secretary), Dorothy Elliot, Kathleen Cummings. Amy Allington, Bert Sherwood, Addic Wellwood and Chris Kidd. Amongst those present .were:—Misses Thelma Smith, Margaret Hopkinson, Nora Attrill, Margaret Graydon, D. Wills, Myrtle M'Lauchlan, Cora Argyle, Kathleen Cummings, Jean Bowdidge, Addie Wellwood, Chris Kidd, Arny Allington, Bert Sherwood, Freda Morland, Sadie Paul. Francis Brown, Olive Ward, Marian Marshall, Betty Hawkins, Dorothy Elliot, Mary Moss, Elsie Palmer, Ruby Kerr. Polly Palmer, Marjorie Dixon and Jessie Cooper, Mesdames R. Collins, T. Peters, B.
