VIOLENT TORNADO WRECKS GEELONG.
UNROOFS BUILDINGS, DEMOLISHES SOME, MANY CASUALTIES. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Aus. and N.Z Cable Association. MELBOURNE. July 22. A violent tornado devastated Geelong this afternoon. Buildings were unroofed and many demolished. Debris, flying in all directions, caused many casualties. One child has been killed and 20 to 30 people injured. The damage is very extensive.
