NURSES’ MEMORIAL FUND IS GROWING.
Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, July 23. At the ninth annual meeting of the New Zealand Nurses’ Memorial Fund, the president. Sir Lindo Ferguson, said they had still a dozen annuitants who were dependent on the fund. The committee had not expended the full income this year, and as a result of some windfalls they had been able to increase the amount of the investments, which were now £20,500. Sir George Fenwick said the fund was performing a tine service in the Dominion in assisting those nurses laid aside by age or serious illness. Lady Alice Fergusson was re-elected patroness.
