TOURISTS DROWNED WHILE WATCHING FLOODED TORRENT. Aus. and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received July 5, 1.30 p.m.) BERLIN, July 4. Rerparkable cloudbursts have followed a fortnight’s unseasonable rains. Unprecedented floods around Hirschberg carried away houses and concrete bridges. Five tourists at Hermsdorf were watching the torrent from a bridge, which was swept away, drowning the quintette. A mother who saved seven children at Agnetendorf went back to save a goat but was drowned in the attempt.
