BANK OFFICERS’ GUILD HOLDS CONFERENCE.
Ter Press Association. AUCKLAND, June 25. The annual conference of the New Zealand Bank Officers’ Guild report stated that the membership was 2200 and 2S officers had secured the University Diploma of Banking during the year. The following officers were elected: President, Mr Brunton (Wellington) ; vice-presidents, Messrs Savage (Auckland), Dixon (Wellington), Wrightson (Christchurch) and Caverhill (Invercargill) ; auditor, Mr Fookes (Wellington); executive committee, Messrs ITulston, Connal, Redpath, Baranaby, O’Brien, Steel, M’Fadyen, O’Callaghan, and Murphy, all of Wellington. The delegates were entertained last evening by the Auckland section at. a smoke concert. about 200 bank officers, including the local managers, attending.
