SENIOR TENNIS MATCHES START.
The opening round of the Canterbury Idjpjrn Tennis Association’s senior intercriib competition was played at the Wilding Park and Opawa courts this afternoon. Eight teams have entered for the competition, and the best players of the province are taking part. The matches consist of men’s singles and doubles, best of three straight sets, and ladies’ singles and doubles and combined doubles, best of seventeen games.
