BURGLARS BLOW OPEN A SAFE.

BUSINESS PLACES IN AUCKLAND ENTERED Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, June 5. Burglars last night entered the premises of Hugh Wright, Ltd., soft goods stores, Queca Street, and the Blue Bird Tea Room, next door. In the latter the safe had been left open. It. did not contain money. A child's money box was emptied and the drawer of a pay desk was smashed open without result. Wright’s office safe was broken open and fifteen pounds stolen. Another safe was wrecked but nothing further of value is missing.
