STIRRING STORY IS MAIN FEATURE AT GRAND THEATRE.
PATSY RUTH MILLER IN LEADING ROLE. “ Those Who Judge ” is an adaptation of a novel by Margery Lund May and is transferred to the screen with-
out the story suffering in the slightest. The picture version is an artistic triumph for Patsy Ruth Miller and Lou Tellegen, and they are supported by a strong and capable cast. Particularb* accomplished and fascinating is the acting of Miss Miller, who takes the part of the misused and misjudged woman whose actions are governed by one Chapman Griswold, a blackmailing ne'er-do-well. The second feature, "The Remittance Woman" affords an insight into life in the East. and shows the tremendous hold that superstition has on the people there. The attention of patrons cannot wander, for the story, into which much of the superstitious element has been infused: is gripping throughout. The supporting programme is interesting and diversified.
