Sir, —Mr James Devereux claims to be the most broad-minded man in the ‘community on the food question, because he is willing to eat anything so long as it can be shown to be the best food. What about those people who are unable to obtain the right foods? Many of them, such as the Eskimos for instance, seem to get along very well on a makeshift sort of diet. —I am, etc., CURIOUS.
