THE PRIVILEGE OF PERSONALITY.
A prevalent mistake with the majority of tis is to admire another woman’s personality so much that we try to model our own upon it; whereas we should realise that each personality possesses its own privileges, so that its owner may venture to do things that others may not dare. If we, with a totally different individuality, encroach on these, preserves, there usually ensues a series of complications with which we are unable to cope. The great art. of life is to know ourselves, to probe deeply into our consciousness, to discover what our basic individuality is, and to act in accordance with the best that is in it. If we do this Consistently, we shall develop along the lines that are right for ourselves. and tread the path most suited to our feet. Do not. do violence to your personality by trying to graft on tc it the characteristics of another’s.
