DIVERS TO ATTEMPT RECOVER TREASURE

French and German divers leave Brest on May 11 to salvage £1,000,000 in gold and silver aboard the P. and O. liner Egypt, which lies 350 ft deep, where she sank on May 30, 1922. The operations are expected to last four months. The P. and O. liner Egypt came into collision with a French v£s&el of! LVnant and went down, fifteen of the passengers and eighty of the crew losing their lives.
