“THE RED RIDER” AT THE QUEEN’S.
Set in that adventurous period of history, the conquest of the vast West of America from the Indians by the w’hite man, “ The Red Rider,” starring Jack Hoxie, which heads the bill at the Queen’s Theatre this week, glows with romance and abundant action. The central figure is White Elk, believed by the members of his tribe to be the son of their chieftain. Brown Bear, but who really is a wljite man. This part is taken by Mr Jack Hoxie, who has abundant scope for his talents. Supporting Mr Hoxie are Francis Ford, Marin Sais, Natalie Warfield, Mary M’Allister and others. “Buster, Be Good,” a particularly funny comedy, is also included in the new programme, and provides its full quota of mirth arid merriment for all. The fourth episode of Universal’s big serial, “Samson of the Circus,” also is screened.
