LINWOOD LEAGUE RUGBY CLUB MEETS.
The thirteenth annual general meeting of the Linwood Rugby League. Football Club was held last evening, Mr P. Kirton presiding over a good attendance
The report showed that it was the lower grade teams that met with most success, the club's sixth grade team having won that competition. W. L. Desmond, senior, T. M’Causland, junior, E. Parker, E. Butterwortb, O. Murray and A. T. Taylor, third grade, and R. Kirk, S. Barker and L. Farrant, sixth grade had secured representative honours. The club was in a sound position, the bal-ance-sheet showing a credit of £5 5s 2d The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as folloKvs:—President, Mr W. S. E. Moyle; vice-presidents. Messrs G. M'Neil, K. Murray, W. Butterwortb, W. Wells, F. Holland, H. Worsfold, D. M. Johnston, E. Healey, E. Archibald, A. Lee, W. Desmond, F. Bowler, J. Chick. T. A spell, B. Rogers, W. Rogers and J. Underwood, Mesdames W. Desmond and J. Chick and Miss Green; club captain, Mr W. Rogers; secretarv and Mr 11. Rogers; delegate's to the Canterbury Rugby League, Messrs W. §. E. Moyle, J.
