AUSTRALIAN FIRM GETS WAR OFFICE MEAT ORDER-

It is announced that an Australian meat export company has secured the whole of the War Office meat contracts. It is officially stated that the meat contracts have been awarded to Swif fs Australian Meat Export Company. It is understood that the amount is roughly £30,000. This is the first time that Australia has been awarded the whole contract, which amounts to 1.500.000 12 ounce tins, compared with the 300.000 tins which Australia secui ed in 1925.
